5% Chance

Yesterday I went to the Dr. for my monthly checkup. I'm 18 weeks, so I was so excited to find out what we're having. Dr. Beck told me that there's a 5% chance I'll have a boy. You know what that means?!?!?!?! 95% chance it's a girl! I'm so excited, I can't wait to dress her in little dresses and get hair bows! I need to decide how I'm going to decorate her room.
I can't believe how big my stomach looks in this picture. Looking at just the picture, how far along do you think I am? I feel like I look a lot bigger than other people at 18 weeks.

Happy Birthday Stu!

Stuart's Birthday was on Tuesday the 12th. He's now 27 years old. We celebrated last night at his parents house with cake and ice-cream. You have to lick the candles!

The cake was very unusual. We eat dinner every Thursday at his parents house at 6:00pm. I get home at 5:30. So I had Stuart make his cake and put it in the oven. It was a box cake mix so I didn't think anything could go wrong. Well I was wrong. The directions called for 3 eggs, 1 1/4 cups of water, and 1/4 cup of oil. Stuart put in 3 cups of water! He didn't want to call me to ask what to do so he put it in the oven and was hoping that the extra water would evaporate out. HA! It was a very densely moist cake! It looked like a mixture between tapioca and rice pudding. I guess that's what I get for having Stuart make his own birthday cake!
