Great Grandma

I'm so glad I was able to briefly visit with my Great Grandma a few weeks ago. Because she passed away this morning. I know she's much happier where she is now. It must be really hard to out live most of your children. She was the funniest, sweetest lady and I'm going to miss her.

Conversation with my 100 year old Great Grandma

I got to visit a little with my Great Grandma while at my great uncles funeral a few weekends ago. She just turned 100 on December 27th, 2008. My conversation with her was very sweet and oh so funny! She has no idea who I am, and that's fine. It was still enjoyable to talk with her. Our conversation was as follows:
Me: Hi Grandma! I'm Debbie
GGMA: Oh Hi (with a confused look on her face)
Me: I'm Jolene's Daughter
GGMA: Oh Jolene!!! I love Jolene (Jolene was sitting right next to her I think she forgot she was just talking with her)
Me: Smiling, aka holding back a laugh.
GGMA: You have such nice teeth
Me: Thank you
GGMA: Mine are false
Me: That's ok, Do you want to take a picture?
GGMA: (after the picture was taken) I hope my mouth wasn't opened.
Me: Don't worry about that. It was good to talk with you.

The Bachelor

I am a little obsessed. My sister and I are having a THE Bachelor Party tonight for the finale. I had to put the in caps so it doesn't look like my sister and I are going to have a bachelor party...Yikes could be misleading. Anyway I'm so excited for the drama of DeAnna coming back! I really hope she's there to tell him she's in love with him and wants him to choose her. and I want him to rip her heart out and step on it like she did to him!

MORE GEMS FROM MY PARENTS COMPUTER

I've only been to Utah once in my life. Well let me clarify, I've only been to Salt Lake once. And It was probably one of the most memorable trips on my life. What makes it especially exciting is that Stuart kissed me for the first time the night before I left. He came over to help me pack... a lot of packing we did :) I went with my friend Becky, for he brother's wedding. We flew in to Salt Lake way too early in the morning and couldn't get a rental car for the longest time. But we enjoyed every minute of the vacation.

Becky and I after finally getting the rental car driving to the wedding. We're eating Rolo's to stay awake and she put the gold foil on her teeth! If you've never tried that you need to do it!This was the funniest thing I've ever seen, 4 people in this car all holding a pool to the roof of the car!

Oh yes it's 80's night, and the feel is right.

I'm at my parents house looking on their computer and I come across a file that says Debbie's documents. I looked through the file and found some awesome pictures. I thought this is perfect I finally have some good stuff to blog about. There are some good gems in here, So I won't go months without blogging again.

So, Story behind these pictures. A few years ago me and a couple of my friends had nothing to do one Saturday night, (I know what you're thinking stupid boys for not asking us out) So we decided to dress up in 80's gear and go dancing. One problem with the dancing thing, we were all under 21 so we couldn't get into any clubs. So...

Anniversary

Yesterday was our anniversary. Time sure does fly by. I can't believe how fast 2 years went by. We got married January 12th 2007. It was the perfect date for us because Stu's birthday is May 12th and mine is November 12th. So the 12th was the perfect day to get married. We're hoping that when we have kids they will be born on the 12th of the month. We can hope for it right?
